Arrival and departure
Arrival time is normally
between 4.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. Please let us know if these times
present a problem.
Check
out time is by 10.30 a.m.
(11.00 a.m. at weekends)
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from
8.00 a.m. – 9.00 a.m.
(8.30 a.m. – 9.30 a.m. at weekends)
Payment
A deposit is required equal to your first
night's stay in order to secure a booking.
In certain circumstances we will take a credit card number.
However, please note, full payment is due on the day of departure by
cheque
or cash.
Cancellation
Deposits are refundable
minus a 20% handling fee provided we receive 14 days prior notice.
Otherwise, full payment is due even if you are unable to stay, although
we will gladly refund deposits if we are able to re-let the room.
If stay is cut short, for
any reason, the cost of the full stay will be charged.
Damage
Please note that you are
responsible for any damage caused during your stay.
Insurance
It is advisable to take out holiday insurance, when
booking, to provide cover for unforeseen eventualities such as
cancellation or damage.
Smoking
This is a non-smoking house though smoking is permitted
in the grounds. Guests who smoke inside the house will be charged an
additional clean-up fee up to £100.
Pets
We are sorry but we cannot accommodate pets at Stream
House.
Children
Stream House is unsuitable for small children.
We welcome well-behaved children, over 10 years of age, at the full
adult rate.
Please enquire about a family discount for long stays.
Stairs
Stream House Rye Guesthouse dates back
to 1850 and the architecture, with its different levels, may not be
suitable for guests with severe walking difficulties.
However, we are happy to help in any way possible. |
