“Relaxing in a luxurious country home…”
“…What an outstanding B&B in a private home run by Sandra & Steve. The rooms were spotless and ‘Poppy room’ with large en-suite bathroom was luxurious. Very comfortable king size bed, with lovely views over a beautiful garden. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the hosts. Definitely recommend this property. “The ideal country retreat!”
“Well, what can I say? This was my fourth stay at ‘Stream House’ and as we walked down the path to our hostess, Sandra, my first words were ‘feels like we’ve never been away!’. Stream House has the kind of country charm that draws you in and makes you feel at home. Sandra gives a warm welcome with tea/coffee and cake but gives you space to relax and settle into your surroundings”.
“We stayed in the Poppy room, as per previous stays. And since our last visit it has been redecorated in beautifully tranquil colours, with a luxurious feel. I must also point out that both the room and ensuite bathroom are spotless – sparkling clean! Out of the windows are views of the stream and the sprawling garden. You really do feel a million miles away from every day hustle and bustle”.
“Breakfast was an enjoyable affair with locally sourced ingredients and plenty of variety. You won’t go hungry! On this occasion we were not able to make the set breakfast time, due to early travel requirements. But Sandra happily obliged when we asked if it was possible to have an earlier sitting. It was really no trouble for which we were hugely grateful”.

“I highly recommend staying at Stream House if you are visiting East Sussex and want top quality accommodation! My partner and I have just returned from staying two nights and were made to feel very welcome by Steve and Sandra who were really friendly and helpful hosts. Their home is absolutely lovely, warm and comfortable and surrounded by a huge and pretty garden.
Our cosy bedroom (Bluebell Room) overlooked a babbling stream at the back and was very attractively furnished with a super-comfortable double bed. Everything had been thought of in the room. Including a nice selection of teas, biscuits, bathrobes, hairdryer and luggage rack. Also, a window blind and curtains (if you like it extra dark at night!) and a fresh bottle of water each day. The ensuite bathroom was spacious with separate shower and free-standing bath. Very posh toiletries were provided as well! Everywhere was immaculately clean but not in a way that you didn’t feel you could relax and make yourself at home.
It was so peaceful that we came back for an afternoon nap after a great 10 mile walk from the doorstep. Breakfast was delicious both mornings and we didn’t need to re-fuel until we got home! Thank you Steve and Sandra for a really relaxing and pleasant stay”. Couple from Worcester.

“Just come back from the Stream House b&b my Husband and I can’t praise this enough. When we arrived we were greeted with a pot of tea for two. And a lovely slice of chocolate fudge cake which we thought was excellent. We sat in the grounds of stream house. Absolutely glorious! ROOM BEAUTIFUL and clean. Out of this world. Stream House stand ganz am Anfang unserer England Rundreise und es hätte uns nicht besser treffen können. Sandra begrüßte uns so herzlich, dass unser Sohn keine Scheu hatte, sein frisch erworbenes 5. Klässler Englisch zum Besten zu geben. Das Anwesen, wie auch der Cottage sind atemberaubend schön. Der Garten ist unfassbar groß. Unser Zimmer war toll. Das Badezimmer, mit freistehender Badewanne und einer Mischung aus nostalgischen und modernen Elementen, sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Das Frühstück war wunderbar und Sandra macht laut unseres Sohnes „die beste heiße Schokolade überhaupt“! Beim Frühstück wurden wir auch mit vielen wertvollen Ausflugs-Tipps versorgt, die allesamt perfekt zu unseren Bedürfnissen passten. Vielen lieben Dank dafür. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Stream House bei Sandra und Steve wirklich sehr genossen. Ina
Sandra und Steve haben einen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen. Der Garten lädt an unterschiedlichen Plätzen zum Verweilen ein und das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und farblich sehr schön abgestimmt. Frühstück war perfekt. Wir erinnern uns mit Freude an die netten Gespräche und die Unterstützung bei unseren Fragen. Wir freuen uns heute schon auf ein Wiedersehen.
Wir waren erneut im Streamhouse und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus und der Garten sind ein Traum. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Sandra und Steve machen mit Tipps für Ausflüge und Tischreservierungen in verschiedenen Restaurants den Aufenthalt perfekt.
